WHY DO COFFEE SHOP FAIL

WHY DO COFFEE SHOPS FAIL ?? HOW TO PREVENTED OR MINIMIZE IT    part 1
by Russel Frederic. W

Many individuals have a good basic idea for a successful coffee shop. Some of them come out with they are own bright idea to build the coffee shop. Some of them have easy idea like just buy the coffee franchise. However, many of them fail due to some common problems. Many in our society are quick to blame this on the big chain coffee shops that seem to be everywhere these days or blame that the location of the coffee shop not good enough or blame that all the big name coffee shop kills them.

The problems now…..  Is that true all quick or common blame are rights ? Because infect there are plenty of other coffee shops out there with a very loyal customer base and success, even some of them don’t have good location or in the middle of plenty other coffee shops or there are only small coffee shop.

From my experiences and opinion, they have three main reasons why do coffee shops fail, it’s not about all quick and common blame that mostly people say. The reason number one is about the detail and the other reason is about business knowledge itself. Plus one more reason that looks like small but many people not realized or understand, “Mentality”.

Reason number one “the detail” :
·                      Poor quality, poor service and unfriendly staff
·                     Over priced or under priced products
·                     Dirty place or bad atmosphere and environment
·                     Dirty and unhygienic

Reason number two “the business knowledge” :
·         Location
·         No or poorly business plan and management
·         Cash flow
·         Over cost
·         No or lack of advertising

Reason number three “Mentality” :
·                    I want or I commit …….

That all from me at the part 1 from my article about “why do coffee shops fail ?” And I will explain more about the detail In part 2.
